Heart In Their Hand

Grieving for a child is an untimely devastation that leaves parents craving an intangible, impossible connection. Heart in their Hand keepsakes are made with this in mind, aiming to keep the thought of your loved one close by in a more physical sense. The bespoke, decorative heart can be placed in the baby's hand whilst the matching keyring is taken home by the parents to keep them close by you. It is a beautiful way to honour a child's memory and carry it with you wherever you go. They could also be a very thoughtful gift to bereaved parents when we lack the words to adequately sum up their pain. Their range is also suitable for siblings or even families and the design can be personalised to make the gift even more unique.

The Rare Revolution Magazine have produced a short guide about the financial implications of bereavement, including support with the cost of funerals, the impact on benefits, housing provision and your employment rights. Colourful Coffins

One of the saddest things about our work is trying to reflect a life that hasn't yet been or has been cut short. We appreciate how difficult this can be and do everything we possibly can to soften the experience for each client family. We have also created the Journey Bear to provide a special person with company on their final journey

Giving Thanks

Amelia’s Acts of Kindness

In memory of Amelia, our daughter who died on the 14th July 2017, we like to send kindness on its merry way, to make people smile, feel noticed, special, cared for and thanked. On the 14th of every month we like to acknowledge a special someone or even a special few. We know there are lots of people out there who deserve a thank you for who they are and what they do in the world. The nurse who looked after your child, the teacher who went the extra mile, your neighbour who always has time for a chat or a friend who needs a smile, we’d love to give something back to these special souls, but we can’t get to them without you!

We’d love to hear from you if you know anyone who needs some Kindness.  All you have to do is send us a message and we’ll do the rest!
You can send us a message with details on our Facebook page: Amelia’s Acts of Kindness or Instagram: @amelias_acts_of_kindness Please share far and wide! Thanks so much! Love Zakia & Thorsten Amelia’s Acts of Kindness xx
