Step up for Trisomy
Our Step Up For Trisomy fundraising campaign is our first community based fundraiser, launching in August 2024. The aim of this fundraiser is to bring our Trisomy community together in a challenge that everyone can be a part of.
The challenge is to up your step count throughout August. Set yourself a step target, either a daily one or a total for the month, and then do your best to achieve that. Our Charity Director, Shaun, will be the first to throw his legs into the arena, aiming to hit 13000 steps, so why not join him in setting your own target?
We will also be launching our Step Up For Trisomy medal for anyone who achieves £100 or more on their fundraiser!

Some Things To Thing About:
Don’t go it alone. Why not get your friends and family involved and form a team? Walking or running as a group is a great way to pass the time!
Don’t push yourself too hard. Remember, if you’re not feeling well or you just need a rest, that’s ok.
Challenge yourself. This challenge isn’t just about hitting a number, it’s about doing something that really gets you going.
Why not explore new places? Find some new and exciting places to get your step count in. Now that the summer is here, it’s a great excuse to get out there and find somewhere new.
Post on our social media using the hashtag #stepupfortrisomy Tag us with your photos or progress updates so we can all see how everyone else is getting on. Your progress inspires us all.
